British Airways to Pay Passengers Thousands of Euros in Flight Delay Compensation #BA083

British Airways flight 083 bound for Abuja from London was forced to return to London after the loss of an engine mid-flight.

The aircraft departed London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 at around 22:28 (GMT). A few minutes after getting airborne, the pilot announced that the aircraft would be returning to its port of departure due to an engine failure.

Passengers are still waiting to depart London, and the airline is yet to make an official statement on the incident.

So what does this mean for the stranded passengers?
