Despite being ranked as our 'number 1' airline in Nigeria, Air Peace has unfortunately had quite some notable incidents so far in 2019.
We learned today that an Air Peace Boeing 737 was forced to make an emergency landing as a result of a fault with the "nose wheel" that developed during the approach phase of the flight.
Although the details of the incident are still sketchy, the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) have confirmed that all passengers and crew on-board were safely evacuated.
Earlier on in January, Air Peace made headlines as another of the company's Boeing 737 aircraft's tyre disintegrated upon landing at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
